Libraries
Cultural Workers United-AFSCME represents more than 25,000 library workers across the country. CWU AFSCME represents workers at federal libraries such as the Library of Congress, state libraries such as Hawaii Public Library, city and county libraries such as the Free Library of Philadelphia, the New York Public Library, the Librarians Guild in Los Angeles, the Chicago Public Library, and at college or university libraries such as the libraries at Harvard University, Princeton University, and University of Illinois. Cultural Workers United has had successful organizing campaigns at the MIT Libraries, the Clermont County Library in Ohio, and the Hamilton Wenham and the Hopkinton Library in Massachusetts.
