Museums

Cultural Workers United-AFSCME represents nearly 5,000 museum workers across the country. We represent workers at private museums such as the Met, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Milwaukee Public Museum. Cultural Workers United has had successful organizing campaigns at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Baltimore Museum of Art, Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. CWU also represents museum workers at public museums across the country including the Washington State Historical Society, the Abraham Lincoln Museum, and the El Pueblo Historical Monument.
