Zoos, Aquariums & Botanical Gardens

Cultural Workers United-AFSCME represents more than 4,000 zoo workers at zoos across the country. We represent workers at private zoos such as the Philadelphia Zoo, the Central Park Zoo in New York City, the Cincinnati Zoo, and the San Jose Zoo. CWU also represents zoo workers at public zoos across the country including the St. Louis Zoo, the Minnesota Zoo, and the Oregon Zoo.

CWU AFSCME represents more than 1,200 cultural workers at eight botanical gardens and aquariums across the country including the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the New York Botanical Garden, the Memphis Botanical Gardens, the New York Aquarium, and the Columbus Aquarium.
